Been a few times for breakfast. Delicious, well sourced food, you can taste the quality. Coffee is delicious. Setting is relaxed, staff very friendly and helpful. Overall a very good experience for the price.

Finally got to use a voucher received last Christmas and it was worth the wait. The whole experience was excellent. We had lunch in the bar. All of the staff were very attemtive and seemed genuinely happy to help. Both mains were well received, and the sticky toffee pudding was divine. We wont leave it so long to make another visit!

Really impressed. A knowledgeable and approachable staff, unwavering in their support, keen on their subject matter, generally faultless in their profession. Well done on your delivery, my wife and I look forward to returning.

I did not stay at the inn, but we did come for my birthday dinner. Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough wonderful things. As a server myself- a major shout out to the wonderful staff: polite, efficient, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. As an allergen girlie (gluten,dairy, soy) I can get rather nervous at a restaurant and hate being “that person” with all the issues for the kitchen staff. But I was made to feel welcomed, and knew I was in excellent hands. Thank you for the wee birthday touches- I have put the cute placement card in my bag for my scrap book!!! The food?! OH MY GOD!!! Huge thank you to the obviously talented kitchen staff- yall have me hooked and I can’t wait to recommend this restaurant for special occasions and celebrations. Truly special night, you all have my gratitude!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at the Bonnie Badger over New Year. Situated centrally in Gullane, the pub is ideally located for exploring the area and walking on the beach. Buses to Edinburgh and North Berwick pass the front door. The food and drink were delicious. The New Year’s Eve dinner was preceded and followed by delightful bagpipe music. We were chauffeured through the dinner by the sommelier, Mark who appeared also to have oversight of exceptional and personable young staff; and here’s the point: it was the staff who excelled in creating the ambience which made our residence so pleasurable. Hats off also to those unseen heroes, both in the kitchen and cleaning and tidying up the rooms, who delivered in spades. Thank you.

Spent two nights at this fabulous hotel. Their attention to detail is outstanding. The food was amazing and service was excellent. Accommodation is lovely with everything you could ask for. Everywhere is so stylish and I can't wait to go back when we can use the beautiful garden. Well done to everyone for making The Bonnie Badger the most amazing place to spend time.

This place is an absolute 10/10 – from start to finish, the service was outstanding. I had planned a surprise for my husband with balloons and decorations, and the staff executed everything flawlessly. They were so helpful, incredibly kind, and genuinely went above and beyond. I honestly cannot wait to come back. The facilities were impeccable – and as someone who’s a bit of a clean freak, I really appreciated how spotless everything was. The towels were fresh, high-quality, and nothing looked overused or worn. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with complimentary fruit and yogurt bowls delivered to us every single day of our stay – such a thoughtful touch. And every evening, we were gifted lemon tea and baskets of freshly baked cookies, along with a lavender pillow spray to help us sleep. How adorable is that? Those little details made the experience feel so special. The Grill Room deserves a special mention. I couldn’t get enough of the prawns – hands down the best I’ve ever had in my life. One evening I tried the seafood risotto, which was simply impeccable. And the lads at the bar? Beyond accommodating and incredibly friendly. Honestly, I don’t have a single negative thing to say. It’s so refreshing to see such a young, vibrant team delivering truly perfect service. We left with huge smiles on our faces – already looking forward to our next visit.

We visited the Bonnie Badger's Broc Bar for a pub lunch, and had a wonderful time. The service, friendliness and overall attentiveness of the staff was excellent. The food itself was also brilliant - my partner had fish and chips, and I had a pork dish with a side of mac & cheese that was sensational. The vibe of the venue was great - lots of friendly patrons, and we also were in good company bringing our dog with us! Overall a great day out and would love to visit again. Highly recommend!
